Recently I was looking around on some of the conspiracy UFO kook sites out there (hey don't judge me, it is a hobby, I take it all with a rather large grain of salt but find the theories fascinating) and recently one thing that totally amazed me. When I was looking at very old threads around the 2008/2009 time frame there were a lot of threads that were giddy with the anticipation that Obama if elected and after he was elected would be at the forefront of disclosing the "Truth about UFOs".
Many of the threads said how finally we would have the government's files on UFOs opened up and we would know all about all that crazy area 51 stuff. Because you see the liberals were all suppsedly about "Transparency" and what not and so forth...
Of course the morons that posted such things conveiniently ignore the entire premise of liberal Progresivism: The Progressives want to RUN your LIFE.
So given that there is stuff up in the skies that the government cannot control and a government that wants to control YOUR life, why would they ever disclose that there is stuff flying around up there that they don't have ANY control over if they want to also control YOUR life....

The government admitting there is some other force out there screwing with people and abducting Bubba to insert things up his rump like some Chicago Bathouse customer would seriously undermine the entire Liberal Agenda. The agenda of claiming that they are so smart that they can run your life and tell you how to live, what to eat, and how much you can make...
I find it funny that a lot of the people on those threads who whine about disclosure are now somewhat sour and getting more bitter on Obama, some are holding out for their precious savior and thinking he will disclose on his way out in 2016....

So, sure, liberals or progressives wouldn't reveal that if it were true, but no government would -- if only to avoid popular panic.
It is a little interesting though, that one of the first things Carter and Clinton wanted to do when they took over was get their hands on the UFO files.
That said, John Podesta (the evil one) is, or at least was, determined to get the hidden UFO files released.

Gerald Ford, RINO harbinger, has also expressed fascination with UFOs. Fascination with UFOs is arguably the only reason why Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul, and Mike Gravel have run for President.
There are several reasons why both right thinking people and liberal moonbats have good reason to study UFOs and the government reaction to them. To moonbats, extraterrestrials make an excellent excuse to attack anthropocentrism, and by their conception Christianity. Moonbats are also fascinated with advanced weapons of mass destruction, as those would make the body politic far easier to control.
To conservatives, UFOs represent complete lack of transparency on the government’s part, given that the government refuses to give proper explanations for the 1942 Battle of L.A. (even though extraterrestrials are likely not responsible for those events).
I ain't no progressive but I'd love for ET's to show up. They just might have some knock down walleye lures for sale or some yummy BBQ recipes that don't involve humans..........and lets not forget some fresh perch recipes.
