He has been broken down! Divorced men understand what it's like to be in a committed relationship within which there are compromises and accommodations. His resistance has already been broken down by another woman so that you don't have to endure the push back yourself.
He uses his words. Divorced men tend to be better communicators. There is a decent chance that he went to therapy during his marriage, if not after, and he has become fairly proficient at communicating needs and feelings more clearly.
He's been broken in! Another thing about divorced men that you might not want to think about but will happily benefit from? They just "get" you. That's because they've been with more women, or at least one woman for an extended period of time, and dealt with more attitudes, moods, issues, and emotions. With experience often comes understanding. In other words, he has already been broken in.

the context is that both adam and eve made excuses/rationalization for it.
eve blamed the serpent.
adam blamed eve, and indirectly, God.
The real question is not why he disobeyed God, which is a legitimate and important one, but why he did not eat of the tree of life, which was allowed, and which had no consequence of death, but eternal life?
No one has answered this, which was my main point.
I sure worded that one wrong! Should have said gender! :)
before the fall there was no death, he would have lived forever. no need to eat from it.
“Im never getting divorced again.....Every 5 years, Im just going to find a woman I hate, and buy her a house.”
You just dug up George Carlin.....GRAVE ROBBER!!!! ;-)
You never know where your angel will find you. I’ve been divorced twice, and my current GF is the best mate I’ve ever had. I’m blessed every day I’m with her.
Almost sounds like she’s describing what to look for when buying a draft horse or other beast of burden...Calm, steady, obedient, well-trained, etc...
Forgot to mention to check his teeth...Or, maybe she did, I gave up early...
Humble advice: “Run, lad...Run like the wind!”
So, if I made a mistake the first time and got a woman who really didn’t love me is it your contention that I should just give up and spare the rest of womandom the pain of dealing with me?
Are those who have been through a divorce now damaged and no longer worthy of happiness with another person?
I see a lot of this sentiment here on FR and I am curious about it.
I mean, with no fault divorce laws it is easy to get a divorce. And, contrary to popular opinion it does not take two to ruin a relationship, only one will suffice.
As to your statistics about marriage, nothing more than urban legend.

This is a blog! Where are the studies, control groups, etc? Unrealiable is a nice way of describing it.
Nothing more than someone’s opinion. Try this link, at least there is a plausible explanation...and more reliable sources.

That's usually the case. Plus divorced people of both sexes have baggage. They're dealing with kids, visitation weekends, child support, etc.
Though I did know one good-looking young girl whose goal was to be a second wife. As far as she had seen, second wives had a better deal. The second wife gets the guy when he's more mature, more established in his career, and is a better husband and father. Oftentime the first wife makes the sacrifices, helping put the husband through school and struggling through the lean times, only to be dumped for a younger woman once the husband has become successful.
I avoid it like a moonshiner avoiding federal agents.

Not all of us.
At 40, both of my kids were reporting to their respective NCOs in the morning. I was laughing. But that's a different story.

Uh, no, I sound just like a man. If you don’t want someone leading you around on a leash, don’t play along. It’s called “being a man”.
Thank you for the link. I appreciate it. After reading it though, it appears to be a personal comment and not one substantiated with a link to research or a study of some nature. It also reads as if it may have been written by a woman who comes off as bitter (just surmising here).
Again, thanks.
LOL! Roger that. I just got done folding the sheets. :>}
Yes, but they left the Dr. Jekyll/Ms. Hyde bit out of that version of the cartoon. Or tried to.
That was a lie on Adam’s part. He ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil without being tempted. So that lie was his second sin.
