Obama released detainees who certainly would not have.

So, how many men have been held in Gitmo, how many were released by year, and how many were found back on the “battle” field by year? Should be pretty easy to fill in those blanks, don’t you think?

If I recall correctly, was there not something years back that the military, CIA etc., decided that capture was no longer the objective? I seem to remember that the tactic was changed to just taking them out because they weren't getting anything but grief out of them anyway.

We did release a lot in the early years, mainly because there were a lot who weren't the "worst of the worst" like the ones Obama inherited. Besides, I don't believe that none of the recently release folks haven't rejoined the fight... we just haven't re-captured/killed them.

A friend of mine ran the place for a year (during GWB's term). There are some really, really evil people in that place.
