I’ve taught my Siamese cat, Mr. Montgomery to give me hugs. I’ll tell him to “give me a hug” and he’ll leap from the floor into my arms and chest. I give him a kitty treat as a reward. So now he frequently ambush hugs me, not on command, because he equates the hugging business with receiving treats.
