BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. —
Court deputies had to break up a physical fight between a Brevard County judge and a public defender after an argument during a hearing on Monday.
Judge John Murphy is accused of punching veteran public defender Andrew Weinstock after the two had words during court in which Murphy allegedly pressured Weinstock to get his client to waive his right to a speedy trial.
"You know, if I had a rock I would throw it at you right now," Murphy tells Weinstock. "Stop pissing me off. Just sit down."
"You know I'm the public defender. I have a right to be here and I have a right to stand and represent my client," Weinstock said in the video.

The Judge is way out of line here.
I used to live in Brevard. Those MF are mean.

The judge thinks it is HIS courtroom — not the peoples. He thinks he’s got a lifetime position on the backs of taxpayers and can behave any way he pleases.
If a private citizen had acted the way he did in a courtroom, they would be spending time in JAIL. this judge needs to be removed from the bench and put in jail.
I take it stuff happens like this in Florduh every day?
That’s Brevard. For those of you in Rio Linda, that’s the Space Coast. Down here in S.FL we have Broward, that’s Ft. Lauderdale, and in the past 18 months 3 female Broward judges have been arrested for DUI. The most recent one was arrested going to work at 8:00 am, intoxicated, when she struck an unoccupied Sheriff’s vehicle in the Courthouse parking lot then drove through barriers in the parking ramp adjacent to the courthouse.
Well I’m not in Rio Linda but since I’m not from or visit the area I had to ask how bad that place is.
Reminds me of the Jerry Reed song SHE GOT THE GOLD MINE AND I GOT THE SHAFT.

Jane Velaszuez Mitchelle (sp) actually said something I agree with. If a high brow attorney had been standing there the judge wouldn’t have acted that way. The poor have a different justice system in this country. I wish a person on trial would ask the judge “You wanta’ go out back and I’ll kick your ass? If I lose, that’s my punishment. If I win, you find me not guilty. What do you think about that, Judge Roy Bean?”
This judge needs to be tried for assault. But the attorney is afraid to press charges. I once had a lawyer tell me to always hire a lawyer from out of town if you can afford it. You need a lawyer who doesn’t stand before the judges every day. The local lawyers are afraid of the them.

Wasn’t it in Lauderdale that a sheriff deputy (or detective) and his wife were swingers and he hid in the closet filming his slut wife with various “clients”? Nice place, Broward— also know for electile dysfunction and lib democrat voting erasures.
