I got as far as the duel with Simcoe last night, so I have 3 or 4 episodes to watch still.
That Simcoe sure radiates the jerk and makes you hate him just like the main Nazi character in Inglorious Basterds. Really makes you want to punch him in the face.

I was already getting emails in WiFi areas.

well I certainly hope that he makes it in front of a military tribunal. The media appears to be covering this pretty well, even the MSM, and I imagine the hue and cry will continue to grow. This punk needs to feel consequences beyond those that he voluntarily undertook over there by his desertion.
I think I read that FatPantload Chris is upset about this, and the VA scandal. SO if he’s losing Tingles on these issues, they may have bipartisan consequences.
I enjoy nature but this is getting ridiculous. We have a pair of chipmunks raiding our veggie garden and we had to free a snake last night that got caught in the netting on the mulch and just now, a groundhog was seen running through the back yard. I opened both gates to shoo him out but he dodged back into the shrubs. I think it’s time for a trap to relocate some critters.
My wife had a baby bunny rub up against her foot last night.
I think he would do less damage in my yard.
Just looking for an upgrade.

Do you have the space fenced? I used landscape cloth, too because I didn’t want anything getting caught, but nothing stops determined birds from flying in-they just ignore my little scarecrow...
Out here, even the smallest veggie gardens have a 5-7 ft. fence-I brought my own fencing with me for just that purpose. If the smaller critters don’t get in and munch during the daytime, the deer will come and eat everything at night unless the garden plot is game-fenced...
The garden is fenced and the backyard has a 6 ft. cedar fence. I’ve left the gates open for an hour now and hope he has sauntered off.
We don’t have groundhogs around here, or chipmunks, but there are enough smart squirrels to make up the difference.
The redwing blackbirds that roost in the trees by the river eat from the birdfeeders I have out, but sometimes go to the garden and peck at tomatoes and peppers-bird netting slows them down, but it also deters the bees from coming in and pollinating...
