The garden is fenced and the backyard has a 6 ft. cedar fence. I’ve left the gates open for an hour now and hope he has sauntered off.

We don’t have groundhogs around here, or chipmunks, but there are enough smart squirrels to make up the difference.

The redwing blackbirds that roost in the trees by the river eat from the birdfeeders I have out, but sometimes go to the garden and peck at tomatoes and peppers-bird netting slows them down, but it also deters the bees from coming in and pollinating...
