At best he’s a guy who made a boneheaded mistake which resulted in the deaths, injuries, and increased risk to many of his fellow soldiers as they looked for him. The 5 Taliban leaders exchanged for him will certainly resume their jihad and kill numerous Afghans and as many Americans as they can. This deal is already being used as a victory by our enemies.
At worst he’s a traitor whose actions have killed Americans and will most likely kill many more.

The Taliban does not take prisoners. They kill them. This traitor was taken care of for five years while the Taliban tried to get their leaders out of Gitmo. His desertion caused the deaths of six soldiers while they were searching for this rat.
Last week, when the VA scandal was boiling over, Obama needed that “touchy freely” moment to boost his cratering presidency. This is the most rotten ploy yet, because those released terrorists will be back killing Americans. Obama hates US.
