They couldn’t pick it up with paper towels and put it down the toilet? Or put it into a plastic bag and seal it? Good grief, it’s not that difficult.

Maybe these particular sculptures weren’t exactly rock solid. If you know what I mean.
It would be if it was all mushy and got into the rug. OTOH I get sick and tired of these “Comfort” animals. One AA flight had a pig wandering up and down the aisle. What makes these people think their “comfort animal” is any cleaner than my dog? They take them into restaurants and food stores.
I heard an interview with one of the passengers. It appears the service dog had projectile diarrhea. It was near or in 1st class, and it was immediately odored too t rear of the plane. The attendants cleaned u the first instance, but had used up all their cleaning supplies when the dog began defecating the 2nd time. That’s when all the passengers began dry heaving and the pilots called for an emergency landing.
