I roll my eyes every time some girl proclaims to like “80s music”... they have no clue what we REALLY listened to back then.
A couple weeks ago I was in my truck driving through town and, Run To The Hills came on the local FM rock station... I cranked it, loud.
Yes, I was one of “those people”.

I listened to all of it. Run to the Hills will always get max volume. The other day Like a Rainbow in the Dark got cranked! Dio!!! The metal was fun, as was the pop stuff. Like most eras, the 80s was both good and bad. I even like some of the bad now, out of nostalgia. Some OMD makes me want to slow dance with a girl (or forty-something woman) in acid-washed, leather-trimmed jeans in a gym now, whilst I wear .... probably the same.
Not that we were competing, but . . . YOU win!
