Duke dropout Miriam Weeks, aka porn star Belle Knox, who achieved fifteen minutes of fame earlier this year when she threw away a lifetimes worth of privileged private school education, Catholic upbringing, and her place at an elite university in order to star in online porn videos, has a complaint. Are you ready for this? She told Rolling Stone magazine that she does no longer feels respected at Duke.
This outcome apparently came as a surprise to her.
Weeks also complains that some of her family members have turned their back on her.

These aren't the Vivid Video shoots of the 1980s she's doing. Today's "POV Porn" is a whole different ballgame.
Belle Knox shows up in her street clothes and a little make-up to an undisclosed office suite somewhere in Las Vegas. She sits on a couch in and gives a short interview about herself to a faceless man offscreen holding a video camera. He then positions the camera on a tripod and has sex with her, careful to keep his identity hidden.
The shoot takes about 45 minutes, she gets a check for $1500 and the video is downloaded to an internet site before her plane lands back in Georgia. It's really not much different than filming yourself having sex with a prostitute.
Actually, had she gone to work as an escort, she'd have made more money and nobody would've ever found out about it.
Investigative research.
Well, Knox did land a reality show out of this.
I wouldn’t turn my back on her if she were my family member.
I’m afraid she would sit on my furniture. Go outside and sit on something. Preferably something I can burn afterwards.
LOL!
I don’t see it.
My giveadamn is busted.
Look she’s young she’ll learn.
I’m not arguing about the immorality of it and you don’t have to respect them.
Just saying that they are more actors than prostitutes. Some amateur porn may cross the line but that is not typical for the industry.
We disagree with the scenes being acted and the results of people watching the acting. But it is still acting in every sense of the word.
I believe it is no less immoral than movies that glorify other sins and the actors that sell themselves out to do those types of films.
“I don’t understand why people go so nuts over nudity and natural sex but don’t blink an eye when movies show chainsaw torture.”
Because it’s animalistic and degraded. Also, I’m going to doubt that anyone who is disgusted by porn is ok with chainsaw murders.
One guy holding a tripod for 45 minutes and filming straight through would not result in a film anyone would pay money for. Real life sex with all the imperfections is not what they pay for.
There are some people into the “amateur” thing but very few. Maybe she did some but I've heard most of this girl's films are heavily edited and shot professionally.
You should seek help.
The idea of porn is to corrupt the morals of society.
No. The idea of porn is that guys like to look at photos of naked women, whether they admit to it or not, whether they lie about it or not. And while men may be mortified at the thought of their daughter doing porn, in their hearts they're happy that someone else's daughter is willing to do porn. Why? Because men like photos of naked women.
Notice how often they find the girls that look like children.
Maybe the stuff that you look at. Your posting history on this subject makes me suspicious. In reality, mainstream porn features young women, 18-25 with proportional bodies and symmetrical faces. The type of women most men are genetically programmed to consider sexually attractive.
You can google her films and see for yourself. There's nothing professional about them.
Granted, since she's now become "famous" her more recent work may be a little higher budget but the films she was doing when the story broke last March were very much "camera on a tripod" stuff.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T, will you drop your drawers for me?
Plenty of people are terrified of their kid seeing nudity/sex but think nothing of letting them watch R movies that glorify violence, thuggery, etc.
My parents were exactly that way
