One of my friends hasn't had a paying job since Obama was first elected, but she insists that the economy is doing well. She points to those bogus unemployment statistics as proof of economic recovery. I said, if there are all these jobs, why are you still not working. She can't answer that, but she'll call me a hateful racist for not worshiping Obama as she does.
I don’t know if “still think he’s a swell guy” is qualification for the office. It certainly wasn’t then and still isn’t now. I didn’t know anything about him then and could never find out anything because he was being protected by the flacks in the mainstream media.
