A former Republican congressional candidate who owes his mini-stardom to a chance encounter with Barack Obama during his first presidential campaign wrote in an open letter to shooting victims' families that their grief can't override the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I am sorry you lost your child, wrote Samuel Wurzelbacher, known in conservative circles as Joe the Plumber. 'I myself have a son and daughter and the one thing I never want to go through, is what you are going through now.' 'But: As harsh as this sounds – your dead kids don't trump my Constitutional rights.' His harsh words came a day after Richard Martinez, whose so Christopher was gunned down Friday night by mass-killer Elliot Rodger, blamed the National Rifle Association and 'craven, irresponsible politicians' for his son's death.

I watched Martinez going off on the NRA this morning. He should have been attacking the National Knife Association. I don’t think very highly of someone who will dance in his son’s blood for the DemocRAT Party. IMHO, that’s exactly what he was doing. His 15 minutes have arrived although his son wasn’t shot. He was stabbed.
No, his son was shot in the deli.

Half of Roger’s victims were stabbed to death yet no one is clamoring for knife control.
And not a single victim or witness returned fire ....
This Martinez is obviously out of his mind with grief. Just listen to the guy and it’s all raw emotion, no reason whatsoever. It is pitifully pathetic that this guy would politicize the death of his son! The son’s death had nothing to do with the NRA. It did have a whole lot to do with a schizophrenic spoiled young man who had everything given to him.

Ummm... Elliot's BMW was getting fired upon by foot patrol officers while he was racing up and down streets wildly shooting and running over pedestrians. There was not one fatality (other than Elliot) once he started getting fired upon. (They first caught up to him near the I.V. Deli Mart, where he shot and killed Christopher Michael-Martinez... this was just after shooting the two girls (both killed) and one boy in front of the sorority.)

The three who were stabbed to death were asian males.
I feel sorry for this father who lost his son in a senseless act of violence, but it had to be said that along with the 1st amendment, the 2nd is the bedrock of our freedom. His rant made me ill with it’s stupidity.
