If you have any service connected problem see the advocate (there should be one there) and let them help you file the paperwork.

If there is an orientation that you can attend, you should go.
They will tell you about some service connected disabilities you might not be aware of. (such as diabetes)

I'm not an expert, but have been through this with my husband.
