Thank you for referencing that article GlobalVagabond. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

The integrity of the referenced article aside, note that the FCC is regarded as an “independent federal regulatory agency.” The major constitutional problem with such agencies is this imo.

The Founding States had made the Constitution’s first numbered clauses, Sections 1-3 of Article I, evidently a good place to hide it from federal lawmakers, to clarify the following. All federal legislative powers are vested in the elected members of Congress; not in the executive or judicial branches, or non-elected federal bureaucrats like those running the FCC. In other words, Congress has a monopoly on federal legislative / regulatory powers whether it wants it or not.

The bottom line concerning so-called independent federal regulatory agencies like the FCC is the following imo. By establishing such agencies, corrupt Congress is wrongly protecting federal legislative / regulatory powers from the wrath of the voters in blatant defiance of the constitutional clauses referenced above.

Satire. Though I had to go to the “about us...” page to be sure.

No conflict-of-interest there.

Darn, you put the satire right at the front .... took most of the fun out of it ... except for some of the postings.
