I don’t understand either trend. Give me good, old fashioned brewed coffee anyday.
I've used the Melitta 1-cup drip cone for the office with the heated bottled water dispenser.
I was given some k-cups. I used them, um, the contents that is, in my French Press
Fresh ground beans and a twelve cup brewer every morning for me.
Keurig is brewed coffee. It is just brewed in single serve and prepackaged. You don’t open a can of coffee and let it grow stale.
Overpriced for my home, but I love it at the office.
I didn’t know that many people still did instant coffee.
Regarding the K cups, I hated them and saw no use for them. I have my own gravity feed grinder at home and always fresh grind it.
However, a peculiar thing happened. I started working at a place where they had a couple of these K cup machines, but you had to buy your own coffee. Turns out that if you shop wisely you can get darned good coffee for $.32 a cup. And that’s a 14oz cup.
It’s so dang convenient that I’ve toyed with scrapping my brewer and grinder at home and just going for the K-cup machine. I completely turned in favor of them after using them for a while.
Yep. My French press works just fine.
Yep - Kuerig tastes like crap. We like our coffee strong and rich - recently bought a espresso/cappuccino/latte machine and it reminds me of my days in Italy- even got some goats milk for more authenticity.
