Here is Swiss Protestant Reformer Ulrich Zwingli's helmet, in which he died. The other side of it has a big crack in it....evidently from a sword. I've seen this helmet in a museum in Zurich....only recently returned there, from possession from the victors.

Accounts have him surviving a battle near Lucerne lost against the Catholics (he was a military Chaplain) to be found wounded. They demanded he recant, and when he would not....they murdered him.
