Took a platoon trip to Lloret Del Mar and went to the bullfight in Barcelona. We were easy to spot in the crowd — we were the ones cheering with as much gusto as we could muster for the bull.

I root for the bulls every time.

Bull “fighting” is a barbaric torture of innocent animals. Hunters always attempt to kill with a clean shot. Only subhuman monsters torture animals for sport.

And we all know where bullfighting came from — the dickless religion of islam.

I went to a bullfight in Torremilenos (?) In 1978, young, drunk and tough as nails. I saw one or two bouts and started screaming “Toro! Toro, Toro!” An English guy I was sharing a goatskin of wine with, looked around and said “Shut up!!” He explained the Spanish likened this absurd spectacle as Americans looking at slaughter in a meathouse as the same thing. The meat went to Orphans homes or school. I said I only want to see a matador get killed. It didn’t happen but one Spaniard turned to me and “You are sickened also?”

Guy walks into a restaurant near the bull ring. “He asks what is the specialty today?”

“testicles” replies the waiter.

“Where the heck do you get those” asked the customer?

“Oh senior, the bull ring is right next door.”

So the guy tries them and decides they are pretty good. So he comes back several days in a row.

On the fourth day he calls the waiter over to the table and says, “ hey, I've come in three days in a row, and every day these were succulent and tender, today they're small, hard and dry, what gives?”

“oh senior, the bull doesn't lose every day”
