Two schoolkids were arrested Tuesday for putting rat poison in their teacher’s water bottle in a Brooklyn classroom, sources said.
The boys, 9 and 12, put the substance into the fifth-grade teacher’s bottle at PS 315 in Flatbush on Monday, according to law-enforcement sources.

Sick. Just sick. Boys that age should know right from wrong and what could have happened to their teacher. She could have DIED. This is a consequence of living in the fantasy world of too many violent movies and video games and not enough quality parenting. They can't tell real from fantasy.

Despite the scary incident, teachers said it’s a wonderful school. One posted a positive review on the GreatSchools.org website Tuesday.
“My school is an excellent environment for learning. We are well into the 21st century and have Smart Boards, document cameras, desktops, and laptops available in all classrooms,” the teacher said. “This is an excellent school!”

We had none of those things. We did, however, have excellent teachers. They were what made the school excellent. A good teacher can manage with a blackboard and a mimeograph machine. A bad teacher will not be helped by all that technology.
