They should do this at our local malls where clans and full families walk en masse and slowly, such that it takes forever to pass them.

A family of 5 (at LEAST 1500 pounds between them) stood blocking the door between the basket area and the store proper, just laughing and cutting up.
A put up with this for several minutes, then loudly announced “Hey! you two-ton lard asses wanna get the fvck out of everyone’s way?” BTW, if you want to do something productive with your life while standing around, there is a good Gym next door!”
Cheers and applause from the other similarly blocked patrons was enough to shame the lard-asses into leaving.
They’re trying to initiate a reaction, daring people to say something about their rude behavior, so that they have an excuse (”trigger”) to attack.
