greeneyes :" I had a bunch of seeds that did not sprout indoors at all.
I am suspecting the jiffy mix even though I mixed it with some potting mix."

Before you replant , if you are using 'grow lights' , place the tray on top of the lights as they will give off bottom heat.
Even fluorescent lights will give off less heat than incandescent , but it will be bottom heat just the same .
Give it a reasonable amount of time (1 week-10 days)
If still no sprouts , then consider a re-plant, and still place on top of the heat lamp, as this will speed up the germination process.

Thanks for the thought, but I don’t think there’s any way to put them on top of the grow lights. These are T5 high intensity full spectrum grow lights and give off very little heat anyway.

The metal is only 1 inch wide and then there are two sides that are cuved downward and suspended by two cords at each end. No way anything balances on that.

I might be able to use a heating pad. I moved them all outside where they’ll get a brighter light and temp should be about right for maximum sprouting. Some of the seeds were kinda old, so I wasn’t suprised. However, I did have a couple of brand new that just did’t develop either.

The leftover peanuts from last year all sprouted, and I have started transplanting them.

Have already started some seeds for replacement on the no germinators so we shall see what happens.
