Too many dog people let their dogs get away with things that, if their kids did it, they’d turn them in to the police. I don’t know, I just get annoyed with a lot of dog owners. They allow a smelly animal that licks its butt, eats its poop, and bites people run their lives.

Perhaps not. Instinct. Prey drive. The things which separate humans from animals. Some dogs are "field biters;" meaning when their owners are present, they're cuddly lap dogs. When the owners are not present, or the dog is uncontrolled and off the property, operating all by his lonesome, they behave quite differently. Hence, the source of much conflict between owners of "Pitties," and those that despise Pit Bulls. My own experience in this regard stems from an attack by of all breeds...a Cocker Spaniel!
