Hero Cat kitty ping!!!!
I’ve watched this half a dozen times. The mom runs down the drive to her son. Then SHE runs away instead of scooping him up. ??????????
A story written in olde English.
What I can’t figure out is how they got a picture of the dog from the opposite side of the car before it attacked the kid, unless the whole thing was staged.
And may the dog and owner thereof be punished fitting to their crimes.
The dog will be put down.
The dog escaped through an open gate.
I like when they say "escaped"....as if the dog had opened the gate instead of some irresponsible adult not closing it.
According to one article I read, the cat is a stray that followed them home a few years ago. They weren’t really looking for a cat but didn’t have the heart to run it off and just sort of slowly adopted it.
I didn’t see yesterdays comments so I may be a day late and a Bitcoin short, but the cat was attacking the dog, period! A cat is not a dog. They do what they do and don’t care about you. To suggest that the cat was “protecting or defending” the child is preposterous.
I know it’s a great video and pulls at the heart strings of those watching it, (especially “cat people”), but reality is that the cat (cats) hate dogs (and BEARS), especially in their own yard.
My wife knows I’m right, but she “WANTS” to believe the cat acted to save the boy. So do many of you, go ahead, enjoy your fantasy.
I was walking my dog once and a family I knew was walking up the street and their cat was walking with them. The cat came around and positioned herself between me and the family still walking. She watched us and it was very apparent we would have to get thru her to get to them. Very impressed at the time.
We got so tickled watching Tara and the family on Fox & Friends this morning. During the intro, she was mellowed out and dozing in the mom’s lap. When they came back from commercial, her tail was lashing back and forth and she had that “Okay...this is getting old” look, LOL. She tried to do a couple sneak-lunges out of mom’s lap, but mom just held on. So cute.
