SNIP
Surveillance footage at Tuscarora State Park in Pennsylvania caught sneaky black bear in the act on May 1.
The bear is seen giving himself a back scratch using a trail camera post. The bear then approaches a trap, sticks its head inside to grab a doughnut and leaves.

In my youth we camped every summer in the High Sierra of Yosemite (back when Tioga Rd was ittle more than 1 1/2 paved lanes).
It was entertaining to watch how the bears outsmarted rangers... and outsmarted rangers..... and outsmarted rangers.
This video demonstrates that bears are still outsmarting rangers. In addition to the bears being smart, the rangers are still dumb.

Nope, they look even more human when you skin them out, bears, anyway.

I love the way the bear looks around to make sure no one is watching him.

Right. Why the heck did they put the food right at the entrance to the trap where the bear can get it by sticking just his head in? One would think that they would put the doughnut at the other end to force the bear into the trap to get it.
