Any “clouding” of the clear covering will reduce efficiency significantly. And driving on the panels will definitely scratch and cloud those surfaces.
Not to mention the hardened magnesium steel blades and tungsten carbide plow shoes! I`ve seen plows moving at about 40MPH so lets see, a 1.5 ton plow scraping and bouncing hardened steel and carbide blades across plastic at 20-40MPH! I just gotta see that in action!!!
