Now I remember why this line of reasoning bothered me.

Rubio’s argument for that Senate amnesty bill was that it will force Obama/Holder/etc to enforce immigration laws, and that we must pass it now (last year) because what Obama is doing now on enforcement is bad.

So one of the big arguments for not passing amnesty is that Obama wont enforce provisions in it that are claimed (by some Republicans) to force him to enforce them.

Now we got a similar argument with this other bill.
