Words regarding repentance and faith tend to rub everybody the wrong way. Why is that?

studios needed to ignore those "who grab the microphones and yell the loudest"

Like the Gay Mafia.

Hollywood often pejoratively stereotypes Christians

If by "often" she means 99.5% of the time....

Interesting comments. I wish he’d expound more on what he means.

Didn’t know this about him. Makes sense he’d star in LOTR though, since Tolkein’s story has Christian undertones.

This comment here tells me that Astin is wholly disingenuous. Does this mean that Hollywood should ignore the homosexual movement or the pedophiles? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Those unknown forces Astin references? They are not unknown forces.

Assumed a Christian Posture.

What does that mean? Not to nitpick, but Jesus didn’t ask his followers to assume a Christian posture.

Astin, the son of John Astin and actress Patty Duke, who were Buddhist and Catholic respectively, began exploring Christianity after a conversation with his Jewish birth father. "He said something interesting at one point when we were leading a somewhat agnostic existence. He just said, 'pick something.' We said, 'What do you mean?' I assumed that he meant pick Judaism. He said, 'Judaism, Christianity, Hindu, Muslim,' he goes 'you need community. Pick something and stick with it.' So, I think we arrived at a Christian posture," said Astin, according to Beliefnet.

Prior to finding his current faith, Astin says he begged his adopted father to let him become Catholic but he would not allow it and always imparted his Buddhist beliefs in him, leading Astin to study the religion in depth at one point. Now he and his family attend a church in the Midwest where he practices Christianity.

He just said, 'pick something.'

Mr. Astin is very fortunate that his number did not land on "Islam" when he played Wheel Of Faiths.

Its really complicated.

Hollywood is disproportionately managed by folks who detest Christians more than anything

Literally.

They let their true feelings run things once it became clear America would barely resist.

The old bosses would have never dreamed of antagonizing their fan base.

I could write a book on this.

Atheist Jews are biggest block....they don yarmulkes at holy days and have mitzvahs but that’s it....a fraternity of humanism....the biggest group by far....and they hate traditional America as one big crime against humanity...the pogrom that just keeps on giving in their eyes

There’s no business like bash Christians and flyover America business

Homosexuals second.....huge influence these days and overlaps with first group frequently....half of Disneys executive committee is homosexual...unbelievable

Atheists period third......libtards of course...from everywhere.

Feel good non scripture based Christians third.....the ones the other groups low to play in the sandbox....collaborators

Almost no conservative Christians.

This description also works for media as well.

Someone told me the other night that Mom’s Night Out was a very good movie and they wanted to see it again because it was so fast paced they are sure that they missed some of the gags.
