Christ is the English from Greek word that matches the English from Hebrew word Messiah, signifying the Holy One of Israel prophesied in the Bible that will redeem Israel, include the Gentiles, and rule all nations from Jerusalem. Jesus of Nazareth was a historical man who is also the Christ. Elves, if one takes the origin from German mythology, would probably seem like angels from a Biblical perspective, which could be good or bad. In any case there is a huge difference between elves and Christ.
