I have tried to be courteous to you as I do all people. It made me just a little suspicious when you tried to use your military service as a qualification for knowing all about guns. You deserve respect for your service but it doesn’t mean squat as far as gun knowledge goes unless you served in an elite combat unit.
When you mentioned the G3 9mm, I knew you had no idea what you were talking about. Actually anytime someone belittles the .22LR, it is a tell.

Anytime someone pushes the .22 LR as a real weapon, it's a "tell".
As a concealed assignation toll for the back of the neck into the skull, it's effective, and it'll get you small game such as rabbits and squirrels, and maybe birds if you lead your target.
but for self defense and survival, it's a liberal's wet dream.
Get a real weapon, IF you want to live.

When I was in South Korea (one of 5 tours) an Israeli exchange officer, an F-16 WIZO (Weapons officer) who was also the Flying Safety Officer at Kunsan AB, ROK, use to do 2 hour tours of duty in the control tower with us, and he's the one who told us about their special forces preferences (mid 90s) and mentioned the usability of the H&K G-3, but he said they had a modified version that used 9 mm in close quarters.
He loved the Short Barreled Rifles, and said they didn't come much better than the H&Ks.
You probably know them as HP 94 or MP-5.
Now maybe you'll think about that, and quit selling a weapon that will get the owners hurt.
