I don’t care about Putin one way or the other. We’ve got our own problems to deal with.

He is doing a good job at being a tyrant. Nothing admirable there.

Funny? You betcha! The people of Ukraine are rolling in the aisles...just as they did in the 30's/40's/50's/60's/70's/80's.And just as the Poles, the Latvians, the Estonians (and the Finns) did during that same period.
Geeze...I thought that *I* had a sick sense of humor.

WORST VANITY POST EVER!
It’s not even funny in an interpretive, satirical, sarcastic or euphemistic way. If it were art, it would be Mother Teresa pole dancing.

If I were only allowed to live in a dictatorship, and I had to choose between Dictator Obama and Dictator Putin, I would choose Dictator Putin. But that is a bit like asking me if I had to choose between spending the rest of my life only eating worms or only eating locusts, I would choose locusts. Instead, I want to live in a free world, with a leader who recognizes that s/he is the servant of the society, the Constitution, and (as Jefferson put it) nature’s God, not the ruler—and I’ll pass on the worms and locusts as well, thank you.

Let’s not get carried away, but yes, Putin has outplayed the boy prez, cowed him, crowned him with the pointy dunce’s hat, smacked him soundly with a glove, on the cheek, and in public.
I like the effect of Putin, on boy prez.

" I like him much better than I like Obama." Just because you like something better than obama doesn't mean much. I like fresh steaming piles of stinking dog poop better than obama, that doesn't mean I like dog poop.

So you’re in favor with him making bloggers register with the government if they have over a certain readership? They also can’t use pseudonyms, have to fact-check whatever they write, and are subject to fines if they insult anyone in government.
