Arrest was unnecessary. However, he did speak out of turn and did disrupt the meeting. It would have been more suited to the crime if he had just been sited for trespass.
The word is “cited” and you think that this arrest is in any way appropriate?
Since when are we supposed to be limited to two minute limits on our rights?
BBBBAAAAAAAHHHHAAAA!!!
What was the crime?
I just posted to another thread that I didn’t want to view the vid of the cat being kicked because I would never be able to unwatch it. That is to say, it will always be in my memory.
This father’s daughter was given “literature” to read that she can never unread. As a parent, I would bend over backwards to protect my kids from sleazy material, and if someone sneaked some in without my knowing, I’d be livid. I don’t blame this father for his outrage. No amount of apology can undo what was done.
I suspect the 2-minute rule was just an empty gesture to give parents the sense that they had some input in their kids’ curriculum. I also suspect the father knew that. If he were my father, I’d have been very proud of him. Fortunately, we didn’t have such issues in my day.
