I think the NFL should offer the lgbt crowd some protest seating for the draft, should the inevitable occur. I suggest directly next to the NY Jets fans.
Maybe we don’t want to say out loud, or too loud, but....
could it be that this guy is a marginal NFL player? And, in such case, no team will want to deal with the media circus that would surround him as the first openly homosexual player???
I think somebody would put up with the circus if he could make a major contribution. But if he’s one of these guys whose talents put him “on the bubble”, I can imagine many teams passing on him.
Then again, in today’s politically correct world, would such passing him up be considered homophobic???? Will the whole NFL find itself facing a backlash if no team takes him???
maybe they can find a spot for him on the cheerleader squad.
He can go from defense to offense and play Center.
