Joe Biden discovers at a late stage of his life that there are two kinds of people in this world: those who belong to an arbitrarily chosen set, and those who belong to its complement.
The rest of us learned that or had figured it out by third grade.

When they’re out of power, left-wingers will tell you all about how “there is no such thing as ‘the truth’” and “truth is an arbitrary construct.”
When they’re in power, all of a sudden it’s “we’ll tell you what the truth is.”

Taking money from lobbyists Joe? Of course you'll praise them, so they won't tell
the truth about you and your lover Obama. Yes, that was an insult.

Biden epitomizes the horrible idea this society has that freedom includes license to do wrong (tell an untruth).
Conservative understanding knows that one may have the power to tell an untruth, but not the right to do so.
What a world the leftist idiots live in.

Exactly why the Left’s “authority” is dangerous — something to be eradicated.

If I had a degree in journalism I wouldn’t admit it. I’d rather people thought I had a degree in gender studies.

It’s not the lies they tell, it’s the truth they hide.

It is both the lies they tell AND the truth they hide. As needed.

People have the right to express their opinions. Their opinions, to the extent that they disagree with mine, appear to me to be wrong. So if the first statement is meaningful, it follows that people have the right to express opinions which I think are wrong.
Journalists are people. Therefore, journalists have the right to express opinions which I believe to be incorrect. They can do that by omitting information I consider highly germane, or they can do it with what I consider faulty logic. In extreme cases, however, they can run afoul of libel laws.

Conservative understanding knows that one may have the power to tell an untruth, but not the right to do so.I would not state it this way because you most certainly have the RIGHT to lie outside of an oath. However, what you also have is the RESPONSIBILITY of that lie's consequences and this is where democrats are such blatant unaccountable pricks...of course only for their own which includes the MSM.
Compare it to Donald Sterling's racism and then you'll see how hypocritical we've become as a society.

Biden epitomizes the horrible idea this society has that freedom includes license to do wrong (tell an untruth). Conservative understanding knows that one may have the power to tell an untruth, but not the right to do so. The root of this is a misunderstanding of the First Amendment, which is inculcated in our government-run schools. Freedom is conflated with license.

Rights come from God. No one has the right to do evil. Ever.
Nevertheless, God gave us free will and the power to choose between good or evil.
It is morally possible, in law, to tolerate even great evils, like prostitution and the dissemination of Marxist ideas, if the evils resulting from criminalization exceed the evils of the crimes themselves. This calculation can vary by time and place, so it is a subject for the civil authorities to determine.

Too bad the media didn’t tell the people the truth in 2007 and expose bummer as the liar he was and covered up his past history as an incompetent bastard.
I don’t think “Mr I’ve campaigned in all 57 states, but may have missed one or two” would have ever been elected in the first place.

With due respect, you are totally mistaken. Even the Constitution confers no RIGHT to lie. It can be argued that it recognizes the POWER to do so, taking the consequences.
