I would not state it this way because you most certainly have the RIGHT to lie outside of an oath. However, what you also have is the RESPONSIBILITY of that lie's consequences and this is where democrats are such blatant unaccountable pricks...of course only for their own which includes the MSM.

The legal right, maybe. But not the absolute right.

Rights come from God. No one has the right to do evil. Ever.

Nevertheless, God gave us free will and the power to choose between good or evil.

It is morally possible, in law, to tolerate even great evils, like prostitution and the dissemination of Marxist ideas, if the evils resulting from criminalization exceed the evils of the crimes themselves. With due respect, you are totally mistaken. Even the Constitution confers no RIGHT to lie. It can be argued that it recognizes the POWER to do so, taking the consequences.
