Male news gatherers and on-camera reporters definitely seem to be an endangered species in the television news industry. And my local newspaper seldom shows a male child or youth person involved in a school activity.
Why just men?
The gals need to know how to change tires too, FRiend.
Women should know tooo!
Geez. Really? Did he ask you if there was an app for that?
My grandpa made me learn how to change a tire, siphon gas, and check all of the fluids before he even let me start the car. (I did the same with mine.)
To understand her pleasure comes first and put in the effort.
Then hunting and shooting...and clean guns...... and fighting.
Ride a motorcycle..... dock a real boat.....even with sail...tuffy
Build a fire.
Prepare food from field to table
Know how to do enough arithmetic to conduct business....honestly
And how to cook.....and sew.
How to be responsible for seed sown and at least some Christian indoctrination for product of said seed.
Responsibility for mom and maybe other older kin is lifelong
Know how to deliver responsibly corporal punishment for wayward man children
Be able to handle your animals ...livestock ..dogs..etc
Serve God....do that and the rest just happens
This list could go on forever....that was just an instinctive reply
Know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em.
Also know whether to use duct tape or WD-40.
Properly shave with a brush and double edge razor.
I like the list in the boy scout manual.

Pick up a check when with friends occasionally. Don’t be known as a cheap man.
I’m teaching my boys many practical things, but one that I insist on hasn’t made it to the items listed, (at least that I noticed).
Every man should be able to use a either a map, compass or both together, and should be able to find basic directions when no map or compass can be had.
A man should know how to gnarfle a garthok.
1. Accurately project kinetic force beyond your reach.
2. Orienteer.
3. Construct shelter.
4. Start and maintain a fire.
5. Kill & eat.
6. Grow & eat.
7. Drop standing lumber, hew, buck and split.
8. Plan, coordinate, cooperate, and execute.
9. Be ready to give a reason for the hope within.
10.Pray
First, be able to figure out what’s going on.
