Thanks for the link to the composting article, much appreciated.

We got a LOT of rain this past week, over 4 inches on Wednesday, but it was needed! This weekend we are planning to rebuild the raised beds and put out some seeds — the only “food” things growing right now are in the herb garden — thyme, chamomile, lavender that is perking up and a gorgeous clump of chives. And the berries are starting along the fences, yum!

Glad you find the compost article useful. It helped me to refresh my memory.

We have some berries forming here on the honey berries and something on the pear tree. Some good chives and lavender too. All the other herbs died out over the winter. Often we can get them through with mulch and row covers, but not this past winter. Just too cold.
