Do you have hard water or soft water there? My daughter installed a drip irrigation system at her place, but the water here is full of lime. It clogs up her little nozzles, and such every so often, and she has to declog it A few times she’s had plants get close to croaking if she doesn’t notice a jet or nozzle is clogged..

She loves it when it’s working properly.

The water is soft, in that it will lather very easy, but there is mineral sediment in it that stains. I check all lines for flow each year before start up. Sometimes I can just use a toothpick to clear out the obstruction. One option is to use an under counter type water filter that catches the chunks and pieces, but we have not had to do that on the drip lines, only in the kitchen sink and the fridegerator.

We would have any other way of watering.
