Yes, and I totally agree with both of you.
It is a moral, mental, and spiritual disease brought on by the continual selfish choices of the individual who chooses to put their own selfish desires above the rule of God. Thereby, in effect, making an idol out of their selfish desires.
Now, given wideawakes posting history, I sincerely doubt he takes the same position.
