Greta Van Susteren has been a journalist for CNN and Fox News channels since the 1990s. She has a reputation for being objective, and reporting only on stories that she finds to be truthful. She has been known to vet sources and facts herself.
When she reported on the 9/11 Benghazi scandal, she chronicled the Obama administration’s attempts to portray the attack as a conspiracy created by an American filmmaker’s anti-Islamic short film. As soon as it became clear that the incident was a terrorist attack, the administration started to withhold their information.
Now Susteren is claiming that the Obama administration failed to invite Fox News to the State Department conference bridge, even as they alerted other news agencies. Fox News has also been repeatedly dodged in their mission to expose the Benghazi cover up.
Susteren claims that someone at the Obama administration has also made clear threats to members of her staff, telling them that they would have their careers ended if they continued to investigate the Benghazi incident.

On that note, I’ve always wondered why Glen Doherty was out there doing interviews just weeks prior to the Benghazi attack, telling of his mission to locate MANPADS and destroy them.
Wouldn’t someone higher up have to have given him clearance to talk to the media?
Common sense says it would be better to keep such a mission covert. So why was Doherty talking about it so freely?
Were they trying to instigate something, or smoke someone out? That’s all I can come up with to explain it; otherwise, it would seem like a huge blunder to talk about this seek-and-destroy mission in front of the world.

Greta is not just another pretty face and certainly not a blowhard. She's a professional journalist at the top of a lowly heap.

It is smart to make the threat public. If one hair is hurt on her, her family or any staff member everyone will know where to look. It’s her insurance

You have a duty as an American and as a journalist to name the people in Govt that just violated the complete crap out of the First Amendment.
You know they will not stop with you and your staff. Expose them. Now. By name. In public where you cannot be stopped.
If you fear for your life by exposing them, then you should fear for all ours if you do not. They will come for us all eventually. Just as every communist dictatorship and fascist has throughout history.
Iirc she and her lawyer husband were both Clinton supporters at one time. Her involvment with Franklin Graham and the Palins seem to have changed that attitude. They are all involved and bonded thru Samaritan s Purse.

Interesting, I didn’t know about the connection to Samaritan’s Purse, but I do think she’s an honest person, not driven by ideology but rather by a desire to present the truth. We need a lot more of that. And I suspect that Hillary’s handling of Benghazi has destroyed whatever Greta and her husband might have once thought of her.
I wouldn’t even care all that much if a journalist is a liberal in their personal life, as long as they do their job with objectivity and simply report the facts. But nearly two generations of journalists have been trained to put ideology before the truth, and are no more than public-relations pawns of the Democrat party at best.

On another note... is this not old news? I thought there were some sort of threats made by the Whitehouse staff against Greta back about 6-9 months ago.
ALL the MSM ratings would go up if they stopped being partisan hacks and did what used to be called investigative journalism.
I heard that Ambassador Stevens’ kidnapping was faked to let President Obungle to look good for trading a high-value Gitmo detainee to get Stevens back.
Apparently, Stevens was not told about the “trick”, and the planners thought him getting sodomized would be a special “treat” for him.
