Steve Busby and Tom Grieve (TAG) suffer in comparison to Eric Nadel because Eric Nadel is so good. Busby and TAG are really pretty good compared to many others. In fact I think they are as good as most national broadcast teams. They are not overt homers like many local broadcasters. Busby has a nice understated style that works well with TAG’s goofiness.
That is provided TAG can refrain from talking about cookies.
Mark Holtz (RIP), was real good too. He coined the phrase “Hello Win Column” and it was his signature phrase.
