C'mon, let's be fair, ALL OSes issue security patches. True, but only ONE O/S has the bragging rights for "Patch Tuesday" for the last 12 years and that's Windows XP.
Thank God Microsoft finally dropped XP. Now we get our First Tuesday's of the month back.
