We write articles all too often about things like animal cruelty and the mistreatment of cats. Clearly there are a lot of us out there that think cat laws in this country (and others) should be way more strict when it comes to their treatment. However, there are some laws out there that we’re not quite sure how became legal. They just seem so strange. Then again, states have the right to pass their own legislation so it is what it is. But trust us when we say these cat laws are super weird!

Thanks to Bandofcats, Mustlovecats, and a page on Catlaw that we found for these crazy finds. Enjoy these laws with pictures to boot!…….

You could try some inexpensive netting stretched across the opening. Put hooks on both ends and it would be easy to put up and take down.

One additional thought...if the cat defecated in there, the scent is still around and may be attracting it back as well as others. Try products such as “Nature's Miracle” that neutralize the hormones and odors so they are erased and NOT sending out calls to the perpetrators for a repeat visit.

Leave an open cardboard box in the garage. That should keep the cat off the hood of your car. They can’t help themselves. They have to hop into an open box.

They like the hood of the car because it’s warm. Maybe you could put a blanket and a heating pad in the box. LOL
