thanks... i was wondering if my sons could watch it... well, my younger son...
If you like it, I’m gonna check it out!
“Turn” was interesting tonight.
Good night.
Bttt
I looked for Railway Man in my area and it is nowhere. Thanks.
Both “railroad” and “railway” have been used in company names for that form of transportation in the US. IOW, it’s not a cultural absolute in the way of the spelling of “labor” vs. “labour.”
I saw the movie at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts last year.
Some fine acting, although Firth (who is always worth watching) gave a bit of a subdued performance. Still, definitely worth checking it out.
American companies probably use the term “railway” in their names because it is a broader term that covers street cars, subways, monorails, etc. In Britain, I don’t believe the term “railroad” is used at all.
It could happen. Reference the Browns in the late 40s and 50s. You may be too young.
However, these days, you are correct. Should have been animated by Disney with some mushy songs.
I saw Jim Brown play football.
I am old enough to not believe in fairy tales.
He and Otto graham were my heros. We were in the Cleveland tv area. However every Sunday we left to catch the bus to boarding school.
Never saw the second half
Saw “Three Came Home”. Think Claudett Colbert was
in it. Also there was a book I think and I believe I read it. Thanks
