What does one do with camels as livestock. I know that some people milk camels. Does any one eat camel steaks and such?

The fur is very nice, especially from the two-hump variety.
Camel hair coats, camel hair paint brushes.
...and when raised without violent training, like they do in arabia, they are actually pleasant animals to be around.
I think the ones around here are just exotic pets.
