This is legalized stealing. Work for 18 months, do not get the job done and receive a 7 figure check.

When the country goes Communist, remember the role stories like this played in bringing it about.
I was off a digit. $58 MM = eight figure.

Amazing 1%er who is a supporter of the lyin’ king. She’s so put upon. Do you suppose the newly departed COO is also an ardent supporter of the lyin’ king? I’m thinkin’ yeah. Probably because they have so much money that any imposition that’s levied on the actual working folks of the country will have zero impact on them. It’s good the be the queen.

I just read Marissa Mayer’s wiki. Nothing on her resume would make me want to hire her as a CEO of anything.
She was one of Google’s first 20 hires. My guess is that anyone of them that stayed around for a while did pretty good — especially those willing to play the game.

Mayer is a loyal new world order minion, placed in command of Yahoo to bring its strategies and policies in line with their norms that you see in all other large web companies.
Fat payouts are normal in nwo’s “silicon valley”, as well as most other industries.
There is competition to hire top execs.
In order to attract them, sweet guarantees are placed in their contracts.
It may be shocking for the sheeple, but it’s par for the course.

I could have failed for 1/3 of that cost...

when the country goes CommunistWhat's going on is more like fascism. Government and the titans of banking and business work hand-in-hand to screw everyone else.

I must assume you're a majority stockholder to care what a private company does, correct?

I’m a real cheap date, er hire. I would have done that job for 1/10 of the costs. I would have provided my own office and checked with Marissa at least once a month.

If that is the standard, I ought to be getting my $58 million severance package any day!

Of course, it's a publicly-held company, not a privately-held company.
While payscales be very generous for employees of privately-held companies, such large payouts for such short tenures are much more common for high-level employees of publicly-held companies than privately-held ones. In privately held companies, length of service is typically a key factor in getting very high compensation.

Yep, when the Techie CEO’s met with Odumbo back in Feb. in regards to their concern about NSA spying and such, she didn’t show. Claimed she had some pressing business on a Friday afternoon. She is a true believer and hasn’t missed one White House Photo Opp. when it is some roll out of the latest bad Odumbo policy.
