Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! Well I for one can proudly say I did NOT follow ANY of the coverage of Barry&Joe Do the Burgh Show yesterday...no matter how many breathless texts from local tv stations that I received.
How about them Pens? Started out slow (hello it’s the playoffs!) but won! There was a funny screen cap from ESPN (that I can’t post here bcuz no photo bucket) it had Pittsburgh as the home arena for the entire series (they are playing Columbus). So close that that Yinzers sell the place out:)

Still is, but he’s more American than Canadian at this point. He loves this country as much as I do. The process of naturalization is expensive. He’d LOVE to be able to vote, but doesn’t want to cheat like the democrats do.

I don’t want to give false hope but there are rumors....rumors only...of some things changing in local radio. National too, but we are mostly concerned with local.
CC is cutting jobs again. It’s rumored to be sales but I am sure it includes air staff/board ops too.
The changes in sales >may< be an indication of impending format change on one or more stations.
It may be nothing but there seems to be something afoot.
Meanwhile...
Quinn is tweeting this morning about Lerner and the DOJ.
And if you get the chance check out the threads about the Bundy standoff and a guy who was videoing it! The BLM had shoot to kill orders.
It was one shot away from a civil war.
The whole thing stinks of a setup to provoke the cowboys into firing...and killing ...BLM agents thus bolstering reasons for gun confiscation.

Great news on the local radio re-do. P6 when you get a chance read thru the last week or so of Jim’s tweets he has a troll that I am convinced works I local radio (be/she brought up the harassment lawsuit from the 90s). Lmk your thoughts if you get a chance.

I’ll try. Actually I have been trying but I keep getting a mishmash of tweets from people I don’t know. This morning there was a tweet from Jim and it was posted 20 minutes before I logged in. Underneath that was a post from somebody that was dated 4/9. Next was one a couple hours old.
Don’t tweets go chronologically? I did see some of yours but they were days old.

YES! Use the @ symbol (that is their “address” on Twitter...screennames can be changed easily. Could the time differs fence on Jim’s TL be a retweet?
