If,by chance, they *are* responsible I doubt that they'd openly admit it.But they'd probably drop hints through diplomatic channels.
BTW...love your profile page.I particularly like that sign that gives the town's fly population. It reminded me of my visit to Broken Hill, where I learned to do the "Aussie Salute".
And thank God and Reverend Flynn for the Flying Doctor.
By the way, another bit of somewhat amusing Aussie trivia - on the picture next to the one with the fly population, you'll see a road sign for the Stuart Highway. The Stuart Highway has one of its ends at Port Augusta, a bit north of Adelaide, South Australia. There's also a Sturt Highway, that goes east from Adelaide. One letter difference. Get the two confused and you could wind up in Darwin instead of Sydney or vice versa, after thousands of kilometres of bloody nowhere.
All part of making this country even more dangerous for tourists. Although I'm the only person I actually know who (briefly) got the highways confused.
Thanks - glad you enjoyed it - it’s still a WIP, broken background here and there, trying to fix in off time.
