WESTERN CONFERENCE - ROUND 1 MATCH-UPS
COLORADO AVALANCHE (1) vs MINNESOTA WILD (4)
ST. LOUIS BLUES (2) vs CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS (3)
ANAHEIM DUCKS (1) vs DALLAS STARS (4)
SAN JOSE SHARKS (2) vs LOS ANGELES KINGS (3)
The Kings win! Great series both teams.
Kings won 3 Game 7s on the road.
51 goals scored in the series.
The Kings are winning the hard way. It’s the opposite of the way of their last Stanley Cup run.
Those with heart problems should not watch hockey. It is unbelievably tense. Amazing Kings. I did not like their chances winning in Chicago tonight. But Obama’s team loses. Good. He would have found a way to take credit for a Blackhawk victory.

Hawks leaving forwards unattended in front of Crawford their undoing....Seabrook had a terrible series
Let’s go Rangers!!
I wish it could have gone to best of 13. That was an excellent series.
My son, a big Hawks fan, does not like Seabrook. Thinks he’s washed up.
I didn’t want LA-NY Cup finals, but it’s what we got.

I was starting to compile some screen caps late in the 1st Period yesterday when the score-fest took hold, and got engrossed just watching the game... a great Series Cup Final-worthy for sure.
New York really has their work cut out, but if The King holds court it may not be the blowout that many expect. (Get ready for the parade of the Glitterati, though ;)
Kings take Game One 3-2 in OT.
Not as easy as supposed in advance.
That was a great game to watch!
I think the entire series will go that way - ending in a Game 7.

L.A. KINGS - 3 N.Y. RANGERS - 2 (OT)
Williams goal in OT gives Kings Game 1 win
N.Y RANGERS @ L.A. KINGS
SATURDAY JUNE 7th @ 7 PM
Great game last night.
This was a game the Rangers really needed to win. The Kings started out slow and looked like they were still tired from the long Chicago series, but as the game went on they just started looking stronger and stronger.
My son was rooting for the Kings.
I’m kind of thinking the Rangers beat my Penguins so it would be better it they eventually won - then I can say at least we got beat by the champion.
Watching last night, the Kings are big and the Rangers are fast.
Fast can get tired but big is always big.
Advantage Kings.
