Riiiiight... I believe that just as much as I believe a mac or an xbox is just as capable of running AutoCAD or any high-level CAD/CAM software as a modern PC.

If I need to model something critical like stress analysis on a primary mechanical linkage, joint, or weld, let alone realtime motion or deformation analysis, I am certainly NOT going to look for any apple machines for a solution.

This is why we Engineers always start grinning and smothering laughter when some macophile newbie asks when the five-figure (and up) high-end software we rely upon will be ported to the mac OS. As well ask when a version will be started upon to run on a PS2. *snicker*

You’re slipping. It took almost an hour for the Apple haters to toss a nasty comment unrelated to the thread. Bizarre.

I find it interesting how much this "Heartbleed" bug/exploit has been vaunted as a massive issue - with supposedly ⅔ (according to this particular article) of web sites having been vulnerable... From the early news reports, I began checking using several tools including web sites that test for the exploit... and I have found exactly one of the dozens I ever use with any sensitive or personal info (or passwords) with. Just one. My question - was this whole thing blown out of proportion (and yes, I understand that all it takes is one compromised web site to mess you up)?
