Megachurch pastor John Hagee is warning his San Antonio congregation and international following of a world-shaking event that will happen between April 2014 and October 2015.
And, no, he's not talking about Fiesta.
Hagee, founder of the Cornerstone Church, points to four blood moons, a rare astronomical event of four consecutive and complete lunar eclipses, known as a tetrad, which begins April 15. The San Antonio pastor asserts the dates of the eclipses signify a major event that will change history in a book released in October, a series of sermons and a TV special airing on Tuesday, the first night of the tetrad.

I would suggest "Witness of the Stars" by E. W. Bullinger. It can be bought for Kindle at .99. Bullinger was a biblical scholar in the 1800's who takes the position that the stars are telling the biblical story and uses scripture to compare. Interesting read even if you don't buy the premise.
Actually that is not true. Also, this next one won’t even be visible from Israel.
“Prophecy has it’s place.”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
But only to know that certain major, clear, and well-explained events, esp the return of Jesus as Conquering King, will occur at some unknown point. We know believers will be in Heaven for eternity in the end, and non-believers will not. This is a good thing for all people to know, because we all must make a decision on this side of the grave. Prophecy is a good thing here.
But when guys like Hagee yield to temptation to interpret very subjective Bible passages and predict specific outcomes, he only holds himself up to ridicule, and makes the unbelievers point at God and mock with hardened hearts.
The Scriptures are rife with great ideas for songs, poems, etc. as a way to reach people with the Gospel. You are blessed with more than one gift. Perhaps many of us are and we do not recognize our gifts.
God is good, righteous, merciful, full of loving kindness, goodness, grace, love, forgiveness, ... let us follow His commandments, and learn His way, in Jesus name, amen.
What’s not true?
I happen to agree. I don't see that he said anything that folks ought to get all upset and disturbed about.
Most level headed folks, believers and non alike will shrug and move on. If events unfold that are to be paid attention to, they'll look back and think, “hey, maybe the guy was on to something” or “ that fella was full of dung”.
What is it specifically that he said that's got’cha riled up? I read the article and didn't see anything that would lead anyone astray or away.
No elections in 2016.
Well said, brother.
I know Who I belong to.
Regrettably, no elections in 2016 does seem a possibility...
I soooooooooo praise God that he has given me a heart that yearns for Him night and day.
I can be such a mess sometimes. God’s toughest nut. Ragged around the edges, but I love my God with all my heart. I adore Jesus and owe Him everything. I am so humbled at the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life. Without Him, i’d be the walking dead.
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Praise to you, for you alone are worthy
Cool. Earthquake predictions.
And now, maybe I’ll go read the article.
I think the “blood moons” and Jewish holidays ought to remind us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (and Israel) and for revival.
Get in line.
"Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Praise to you, for you alone are worthy"
Amen!
(2 Timothy 1:7,8) "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord..."......."...for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." (Rev 19:10)
RegulatorCountry, maybe you accidentally posted this reply. I did not speak of astrology (having very little knowledge of it) nor did I speak of personal gain in my post. You must have meant to reply to someone else.
The reply was intended for you, Wiz-Nerd.
See my post with links about the seriousness of this tetrad landing on the Jewish holidays.

It does not dispute what Pastor Hagee is saying but what I wonder about is...
The Blood Moons from this: http://local.msn.com/blood-moons-eclipse-series-not-a-sign-of-apocalypse will be seen from North America but not Israel, see graphic at link. At the least, this is something that should be explained, as it is, I am definitely skeptical of this prediction.
Yes, Jack but does it matter if it won’t be visible from Israel? Graphic on this page: http://local.msn.com/blood-moons-eclipse-series-not-a-sign-of-apocalypse
North America will see it.
